As a former analog SLR amateur photographer (previously Nikon and Canon) with its own dark room I was looking for a preiwerte compact SLR digital camera, with which I can but thank comprehensive adjustability make it flexible and creative very good pictures. After a long study of the possible purchase options as well as the reading of various test reports and countless customer reviews I decided for the (inexpensive) current multiple winner of the Bridgestone Super Zoomer - for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150EGK Digital Camera (12.1 MP, MOS sensor, 24x opt. Zoom). It is in this price range ensure a clear entry-level model in the SLR digital world. But what a convincing! I have the camera since the end of Nov. 2011 and can / would therefore only now still under some hesitation (because not everything in the approach explored) Rate: Actually, almost everything is in many other reviews, yes, but I said! Nevertheless, advance everything following: I was overwhelmed that good quality, the camera in your recordings! The FZ150 is for its price also a good build quality of the hardware and offers me the desired range of snapshot to creative settings and recordings. It is a device that has not fully met my expectations! Nevertheless, I had until the arrival of the equipment, of course, still lingering doubts about whether I was not better even deeper into their pockets should have access? Of course, everything is always a question of standards and requirements. Now to the preliminary result: no criticism of the photo and video quality. Those who still want a little more crisp in the expressiveness of the recordings, the noise reduction can indeed still back off a bit, or are working in RAW format and then edit on your PC (in the final result is again a jump). But actually, I see no real reason to! I projeziere the Photo / Video results for a first sighting on my Panasonic plasma TV (52 inches). The FZ 150 is rapidly connected with Plug and Play in HDMI 4: Viera with it can then control there very comfortable with the TV remote control. On the 1.3m HD screen size then nothing remains in the recording (and the camera quality) concealed! The camera is just plain super !!! Very impressive is the zoom level and especially its optical quality, well: it's just a Leica lens! And of course many other things makes the camera attractive - it is precisely the huge breadth of settings, so they want them fully use! All critics (whiners) the unit should therefore remember the price / performance ratio ever. It is by far the best that can be expected for less than EUR 500. An even more perfect work out the results for less money via the PC in addition yet possible with Photoshop (photos) and Pinnacle Vers.15 for RAW / AVCHD video design in HD! Filming you with tripod, the recorded absolute professional quality, partly because the software for image stabilization of handheld shooting to moderate / middle Zoom takes really excellent. The camera is very fast - by touching the shutter button to focus the object. Even when shooting video with a nominal 95MB / s SDHC card is no speed problems in the data recording to show even at the highest setting of the resolution. Yet for Panasonic perhaps two notes on FZ 150: A very slight but verschmerzbare weakness shows mE the FZ150 Video mode in the autofocusing, and only then when you zoom in very quickly the object! (Here help manual adjustment on focusing point); some getting used to is the fact that one could operate the very smooth keys of the four-way switch with quick, casual access to the (still) turned on (!) camera occasionally, but this is not really a broken leg, but costs only exercise in discreet access! So I give summary of the FZ150 not only an unconditional recommendation to buy, but also advise everyone to buy this device in this performance class to - because he has a little Fable for a technically sophisticated device with extremely wide settings. The universality and completeness of the camera is in my opinion the decisive factor: Depending on your mood, you do perfect their services. Whether one wants to super fast and without a lot of drama in the setting convincingly good photos (snapshots) make (then program iA, better yet P) - or you want to give up the many automatic options and wants professional as photographer with manual settings, the possible potential of design from the motive spells (leeway for creativity)! With this device, almost everything is possible - as an "all in one" - concept !!! Critics (and such there is always known) That said, they may then be quiet for 2500-8000 EUR but rather the example Nikon turn (D3 or D800) and then with well over 1,500 euros / pcs. the necessary lenses in front buckles; surely this is likely to be another Q-jump over the FZ150 in resolution, brilliance and picture noise. But at least as downward in extremely worse price / performance ratio !!! The Lumix DMC-FZ150 is for me anyway in their price range among digital still compact and bridge (instead of shirt pockets -) - cameras the absolute ne plus ultra !!!
