Unbeatable in its price class!

It resembles indeed already a matter of faith for which smartphone model you choose.
The major manufacturers are bringing out almost every year a new model, which is cheaper or free gets from mobile operators, but only if it binds under a contract extension at least 2 years. Adding to the monthly fixed costs of mobile together to get quickly to a full price in the upper 3-digit euro range. Out of the question for me! I use a cheap mobile flatrate with internet access! Just for that I need a suitable smartphone without a contract!
I chose the model Blade L 2 of the Chinese telecommunications manufacturer ZTE.
To date, ZTE is in Germany rather unknown, but this could change quickly as

Visually, the Blade L 2 of ZTE a very well selected, elegant acting smartphone.
In his subtle white it looks very appealing and offers a slim silhouette.

Since I like to take pictures and a lot, but as a rule but use a classic digital camera, the camera of a smartphone was particularly interested.

The Blade L2 runs on the Android OS 4.2 Jelly Bean.

With the battery life I am very satisfied. Since I'm only now and then go to the Internet and the Blade L 2 primary use for the phone calls, I can report a battery life of about a week.
The battery ....! When Blade L 2 it is not interchangeable. Whether the battery is replaceable or not, for me is not the decisive factor in choosing a smartphone.

Conclusion:
The ZTE Blade L2 stands there in its price range and with a 5-inch screen diagonal largely unrivaled. It is an ideal smartphone, not only for beginners!
