I listen mostly classic and I was looking mainly a natural balance. I often heard the horrifying sssss in the upper midrange or bass then that may have their place in certain styles of music but certainly not classic. For PL30, nothing to see! Once found the good tips, I enjoy listening. Careful choice of nozzles significantly affects the result, whether in the bass as in acute. I finally opted for for doubles (I do not know the term used). But we must all try and find the right compromise: the more it blocks the ear, there is more bass, but it quickly becomes uncomfortable. With these tips I have not put the bass boost. Whereby, from low to acute, balance is superb, even on difficult instruments like the violin. Only certain solists voices are a little swollen in the lower midrange without becoming unpleasant. Acute purposes and are not aggressive, the medium well enough present and silky, this is down without reaching well on what I hear with my Sony 7506, but the band keeps the seat. The piano goes very well I squinted toward the headphones to more than 100. I'm really not disappointed to have spent five times less!
