Unbelievable good! Incredibly cheap! Crystal clear Best Buy!

What I can contribute but are their own experiences.

As a former buyer of premium-class devices from Blaupunkt (before the sale of the division) I am in functional terms and "demeanor well" design have been a bit spoiled. Since my device not came with the smartphones of my wife and me cope and I caught myself more and more that I wanted to take the mobile when driving in the hand, needed a new radio.

I've been looking for the following things:
- Few frills without mini knobs, to avoid being distracted while driving
- Clear easy to read display without much useless Geflacker
- A very good RDS tuner
- Very good USB wireless tonality
- Enough power to 4 Lausprechern with subwoofer output to renounce amplifier for 4 speakers can (I drive a van, no showroom on wheels;))
- Of course a good sound with sufficient adjustment
and especially
- A flawless and comfortable Bluetooth handsfree! (Those who are caught twice with the phone in hand, the radio has been out again ...!)

After a short but intensive search I found this instrument and was very pleasantly surprised:

The few buttons on the device are large, without looking easy to distinguish and the basic functions are permanently learned. The good knob makes a high impression.

The display is the no-frills design integrates seamlessly and flashes and flickers (except in the upper right corner of a small animation) is not useless to himself. It is very easy to read even in the sun and it can be perfectly the vehicle interior lighting adjust (buttons and display can be set separately). Everything important is presented without being too cluttered.

The RDS tuner does its service just fine. He could be a bit earlier to stronger signal change so that an occasional squeak slightly, but perhaps I'm too spoiled by my old upper-class Blaupunkt tuners ... Nevertheless, I would tuner described as very good. Whoever listens to more radio should switch to DAB + nowadays anyway.
Because there is no tuner preset keys, you have to jump with the arrow keys to scroll through the presets or by briefly pressing the menu button with the volume control to scroll through the station list (it is only shown one line!). All in all, but not necessarily inferior to 6 mini-station keys, you have to grope laboriously.
Very handy tuner Timer: I hear in the morning on the way to work like the news. But since I, as I said, a lot of MP3s Listen, I miss the news unfortunately ever. This is the timer past that changes over when the set time on the selected source to the tuner!

The USB functionality (regardless of whether the front or back) is great. The full-San Disk Cruzer Micro 16GB stick is played after turning around after 10 to 15 seconds. After turning on the radio, the device starts with the last position. The skip forward or back is spontaneously performed within (less than) a second. Tomorrow I'll test a Intenso 16GB micro stick in front. If there are any negative experience with it, I will write an addendum.

The amplifier with equalizer is beyond Normalo claim-doubt.
Who wants to have "flash-bang-crash", will take a different view, but from the age of oversized capacitors I'm out. ;) The device sonicated my Kia Carnival with the 4 series speakers to my surprise quite excellent and is my Blaupunkt second to none. The doubts as to whether a 3-band EQ ranges have dissipated: The loudness function is matched well and the equalizer presets are well chosen. You can set also enough to find your own sound.

The EQ and the output stage are a really positive surprise!

The subwoofer output (not loud, but to round the overall phonetic image) I will not for a few weeks to test ... The case I have to make yet ... but I'm not expecting a negative surprise. On the subject subwoofer still following note: There are only two front and two rear RCA outputs, of which the rear two can be converted for the subwoofer / need - that is provided and then set the device so! So you can connect any amplifier for 4 speakers and a subwoofer amplifier. But as I said, for ambitious listener Familienkutschen extends the built-in amplifier in my view completely. Powerful bass and clear treble with rich mids. In the price range are no better - especially not without investing huge sums in the speakers.

And now the highlight: The Bluetooth functionality!
Although annoys me that the USB dongle tiny occupies one of the two USB courts, but this is a lot of functionality on board!
I tested the setup with my Motorola Defy and the Samsung Galaxy 3 my wife (each with the latest official software).
The speakerphone picks easily on the telephone books of phones. One can simultaneously operate both phones to the device! I do not know what happens when if a call is in progress and the other rings, but first of all they both work in parallel.
You can use the telephone book of telephones or create your own radio. It leaves the dial by name, press the knob and then looking for a name associated number. Very easy and fast.
The caller comes across somewhat muffled but clear. The micro is good but overall it seems to me the whole bit quiet despite set maximum sensitivity. But to get to without Dieselgebrumme and wind noise while facing and is in principle well understood.
The micro cable is very long. I have not measured, but should be able to really embarrassed each to the appropriate place.

The audio streaming from mobile works just fine (including Internet radio via mobile flatrate - important, otherwise it will get expensive!).

All in all one can say that what is promised (see JVC website, there's a PDF file with the Bluetooth device compatibility: [...]) works really well. In this (and even higher) price range is not always self-evident ...

More than a gimmick is the ability to control the device with the JVC app from the Android Market (play)! Works with the Defy and the Galaxy 3 PERFECTLY! Very good, if you take sitting on one of the back rows and will operate the radio from the back, because the kids want to hear what else. So the driver can concentrate on delivering the traffic.

Who has no Android phone, but can also use the supplied remote control small, and I the app (full info display with gesture control) personally find much more practical.

All in all I would not have thought that I such an extensive and great device find in the price range in which everything works as promised.

Small disadvantages:

That there is no removable control panel, has its pros and cons: Who has a removable, it can bring the rolls in your car and it is stolen, does not receive any money from the insurance! This device is a so do not happen: either it is stolen and there is money or else it will not be stolen. But honestly: Which thief stealing a radio in the price range?!? But the risk not worth it and I'm therefore a little worried and I am pleased that I have to lug around bulky no keypad more in your pocket.

I was used to being able to do that even without radio key by long pressing the power button for a predefined set time (eg washing the car). That's when the radio is not - at least I have not yet figured out how to do that. If I can find something there, I will submit an addendum. But I am also very grateful on tips. ;)

Conclusion:

Anyone who buys at the price cheap junk from discounters or supermarket, just to save 15 euros, is your own fault ...
But even those who spends as Otto-Normal-consumer more money should first scrutinize times based on this device!

From me a strong buy recommendation!

Addendum 1:
- The mentioned Intenso 16GB Micro-Stick also works flawlessly with the device.

- A little tip for use while listening to USB (I have not found so in the manual):
When you hear a song, and briefly press the Menu button, you can take the wheel "scroll" through the folders and select another song. Here again: slow scrolling with names, turning quickly, numbers are displayed. So far so good.
What is in the instructions DO NOT:
Pressing then the T / P button (if necessary as many times until the root is), the Radio, a directory level jumps up and there you can "scroll" to the wheel again. If you have the folder, you can jump by pressing the volume control to the directory or select the song!

After a few days of intensive use I must say that the first impression is confirmed: Super easy and intuitive to use radio at a great price with a very comprehensive facilities with a super sound.
