Unfortunately, does not reach the DarkGlider I think their quality.
I had the DarkGlider now 7 months in use, mainly for PC games.
What I unfortunately problems from the beginning has been the ergonomics:
The right side of the mouse is unusually strong and sloping arg slippery. Furthermore, the mouse is much wider than many other mice - which of necessity results without exercise, that the ring finger has no proper grip and slip off the hand when lifting the mouse.
One always needs therefore the little finger to the mouse when in addition to support lifting. This is unusual and not very comfortable, especially when playing shooters.
Here clearly applies: Before you buy best in an electronics market antesten, I assume that many others have the same problem.
Furthermore, the driver in comparison to other gaming mice is significantly weaker. The setting options are sorely limited (especially when compared to Roccat drivers). There are for example no bike settings or options for the lift-off distance. Although macros are available, but hidden deep.
Most expenditure was at the driver in the change in presentation of luminous LED plugged into the mouse which is pure gimmick.
Those who want to test the driver can also install before buying it by the way already. All options can be see also without connected mouse.
Since the move to Windows 8 the driver failed with me no longer connect to the mouse and therefore no longer transmitted setting changes to the device. Da has not changed even with Windows 8.1 to the problem I always had to switch to a Windows 7 PC, if I wanted to make changes to the profile (which is then stored in the mouse).
All this would have not been dissuaded me from the mouse. Finally, it has also a lot of great features such as the adjustable weight, the excellent laser which performs its work on virtually any surface, the many DPI settings and the easy access to all buttons.
For several weeks, however, I had the problem that the mouse wheel was broken. It jumped again and again single or multiple locks or scrolled in the opposite direction.
It appears this is to act to make the same mistake, which also occurs frequently in the Roccat Kone [+] mouse (see the relevant reviews here on Amazon).
Amazon was fortunately so accommodating to withdraw my mouse itself more than half a year after the purchase and refund the purchase price once again a great service from Amazon.
I am now switched to a Logitech G500s and been very pleased.
Here again positive and negative points summarized:
+ Beautiful and elegant design
+ Very good laser that getting the job done, especially in shooters
+ Good accessibility of key
+ Many possible DPI settings
+ Adjustable weight
+ 5 different profiles set
- Large and particularly wide mouse that can be raised only with difficulty
- Driver problems in Windows 8
- Defective mouse wheel after 6 months
