The bag is very well made and looks elegant, but for my taste it fit S4 too loose. If I should fall, the pocket times, the phone slips out definitely. Just as pure protection from scratches it is absolutely fine. The problem, of course, if you make the envelope more closely, you get the phone worse out as only one tab would help as they have many cases yes.
