Unfortunately, not at all recommended.

We bought the camera for our 7 year old daughter who has not complained that the images have the quality of a mid-range camera phone around. It was clear that since no photos for posters gets out.
But the camera is useless in practice because the two batteries are so quickly empty that should take no less than eight of them for a trip to the swimming pool. We tried different types of batteries and different "name" and "NoName" NiMh batteries to 1900mAh, it benefits just nothing, you can watch the battery bar in losing weight. Without flash, it takes just a bit longer, the power-hungry seems to be the screen and the you have to switch without optical viewfinder halt at a camera.
