The attachment of shells is really a bad fumble - that take them from without damaging an art. It maintains good grip on Macbook. However, it will no longer close 100% by the small retaining clips. But the major shortcoming:
The 2014er Macbook Air 11 has small openings on the side 2 microphone. The older model years probably only one.
