The basic idea of the film I liked quite: The indirect manipulation of the rate from the media, politics and business. Only I noticed more and more while watching the movie that must have probably written a perfect idealist the script. There is no doubt that the German television landscape to wish significantly especially in the afternoon program leaves much and can be influenced by the respective program some walks, but as extreme as it is shown in "Free Rainer", there is (thankfully) still not. I for example do not know anyone personally who really and Co. believes in the stories of "Families in Focus", "sue me yet." It makes most fun of how you try to muck one. Apart from that, the television for a long time no longer has the impact it had maybe 20 years ago.
Be that as it may, the concept of the film is solid, but it gives a little wrong-headed MMN ideal morality and an inaccurate view of reality. For the quiet movie night only conditionally recommended.
