Also I can not manage on multiple computers to use this "stick" as a card reader. The thing is recognized when inserted and display the contents of the memory card, however, is not. Therefore useless.
For OTG function: my smartphone recognizes the card reader straight away, even the contents of the card is displayed. But only for a few seconds, then the unit will be mounted permanent change and is ejected. So here also unusable.

It may be that this card reader works in other computers or with other smartphones or SD card, not for me anyway. Therefore, I have no buy recommendation.

Tested among other things with my OnePlus One (Temasek-Rom and Boeffla kernel) and a Transcend 64GB MicroSD.
