The optics of the Canon may, without limitation, keep up with the Zeiss, which surprised me. No fringing, lovely bright colors, decent sharpness even on the edge.
Unfortunately, the Canon is very hard and is therefore used by me almost exclusively in the domestic environment. The eyecups are useless; the Canon is probably only one glass for eyeglass wearers. Practical Okkularschutz are not. By comparison, the Zeiss the Okkularschutz hangs up when placing the glass by itself and there when preparing to look through the eyepiece of themselves freely. That would be the practitioner!
Conclusion: As I have already access to a similar glass of Zeiss, I would have liked better the Canon to buy 18 x 50. That may remain in the optics behind the 15 x 50, but has the advantage of the 18-fold magnification. When traveling, the Zeiss remains unchallenged. The deduction of points gets the Canon because of the weight, the eyecups and a lack of practical Okkularschutz.
