If you have read the blurb you unfortunately know pretty much at every stage what will happen next, without having read it though it could have been pretty fascinating. I like how the very different life situations of the characters lead them to be in a team and play along. They are all stuck and do not seem to come anywhere close to Their Very different hopes and dreams, apart from this commonness They are all as diverse as people can be - Completely Different but problematic backgrounds; unhappily married, single, mother, hostess, club owner. But They are all looking for the same thing: Freedom. For each and every one of them Freedom comes in a different dress yet to achieve it They need to act together and one hand washes the other ... The nauseating yet fascinating description of the cruel details really made me share the thrill with The Protagonists and so it shows how far a totally ordinary person can go if he / she is a hopeless life situation Offered with Practically no way out. Another drawback is the bad translation with "linking phrases" that are repeated over and over ("sth. / That. What ALL BUT" That was PRECISELY, ....) All in all I had a enjoyable reading experience and I would even tend to 4 stars but the predictability really cuts the fun.
