Here is my assessment:
The package includes the charger and an AC power cord (with power adapter). Unfortunately, a printed manual is not included. You have to take with the notes on the packaging in English to be content. Sure, you can argue, as a charger can be operated intuitively, but I think on the one hand, there are also customers who have such a part for the first time in the hand and on the other a German instruction should be mandatory, if I have a machine on the German market offering. The manufacturer should make improvements.
Now to the actual store. It supports 3 types of batteries: Ni-Cd, Ni-MH and Li-Ion. With my Hama latter device could not do anything, so here Foxnovo scores. I can completely discard my Hama however, not yet, because it does not load all Foxnovo with us current battery types, but only those in the conventional cylindrical battery shape. The classic 9V for example can not be charged with this device.
Specifically, the following battery types or sizes are supported:
AA (the 'normal' rechargeable AA batteries)
AAA (the still narrower Micro Accumulators)
C (Baby)
D (Mono)
I've tested all these variables successfully. Inserted problem can be the normal AA. The 'special sizes' one must sometimes readjust something until the batteries properly in contact at both ends and the lights are on. The display with 3 LEDs I would see only a rough guide, as some pickled, absolutely empty batteries have fully displayed after a few seconds 1/3, which can not really be.
The side USB port for charging smartphones, for example is a nice gimmick. In practice, this will probably come rarely used with me. The direct connection to the mains or an external Power Bank are as the easier way.
An important advantage of Foxnovo is, after all, that I used to be the battery no longer has paired invite unlike them, you can also individually or while running in an odd number and also different types of batteries at the same time. In addition, I was able to with this device even some old batteries again 'reactivate' who had my old charger displayed as broken and no longer be charged.
Positives: The manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty on the product, as long as you signed up on the website for this purpose.
In the overall picture, I would forgive 4-5 points. It is a versatile charger for normal domestic use as well as for leisure and hobby, as long as you can do without 9V blocks. Its purpose the charger otherwise very good. For professional equipment with more comfort (eg display with exact indication of the remaining capacity) you have to spend even more money, as a rule.
