Unpleasant light, low luminosity

I bought this lamp in order to illuminate the staircase in front of our front door and let the lamp sometimes burn with a clear conscience when the evening no one is home.
The lamp is certainly accommodate in their dimensions anywhere without problems, in particular, it is much thinner than conventional bulbs. The 360 ​​° -Ausleuchtung works beautifully. The LEDs are arranged around the longitudinal strips, but which unfortunately just also produces longitudinal stripes on the frosted glass of our lamp: That does not look so beautiful ...

The temperature of the light has absolutely nothing to do in my opinion with warm white, it is on the contrary a very cold, unpleasant light with clear blue tones. The staircase is lit so in a "Stay here rather off" light - maybe just the thing if you want to deter burglars ?!

The lamp brings so to my mind all the disadvantages to light that can occur with LEDs: only punctual light, Weril the diffusers are unsuitable and unpleasant, super cool color temperature. In this case, according to my personal taste, while also not really bright, even if the lumens specification is probably correct - only that tells not necessarily sooo much.
