I did not expect much, but the price is very low. However, I was disabused. That there is so much quality at such a low price, I did not think.
The case looks very noble, it is glossy black, but not exaggerated gloss, rather decent. Fingerprints looks at the housing barely.
The retrofit is extremely easy. The HDD can be easily connected to the terminal, pushed into the case, then screwed by means of the 2 enclosed mini-screws. Even a small magnetic screwdriver is in the package, super! In 10 seconds, the HDD was safely installed.
The connection to the PC via the enclosed USB-Y cable. Both my desktop and on my EeePC already extends a USB port in order to use the HDD. On the desktop is already running Windows 7, on the EeePC (yet) XP. Both times the HDD is detected easily, a manual driver installation was not necessary.
As a little icing on the cake is also still in a small pocket in which you can safely transport the HDD or the housing. And all this at this price? Impressive!
In the pictures, however, is not to see that the case is printed with white letters. It bothers me personally not, is nevertheless noteworthy. Altogether can be found on the top three logos: "2.5 '' SATA External Case" ... "Serial ATA" ... "USB 2.0".
Since it is only printed, the lettering can be safely removed easily. Then the case completely clean =)
