To anticipate the same: The smartphone is reflected much better than expected, and I have grown fond of it properly in recent weeks. The LG 90 For example, it suggests, despite substantially lower price by far. The four-and-three-star Rezis previous speakers seem to me unjustified in most cases and are in fact often unfounded. Four stars because of unknown manufacturer, I find a little too short cross as an evaluation criterion.
The housing looks classy - not as round as a BlackBerry Z30, but not totally edgy, to dispense with a brand logo on the front, so that all the space for the display can be used, and creaks and rattles anywhere.
The cover on the back can be removed simply amazing, inside are a replaceable battery and the nachkaufbare Mini-SD card (my has 32GB) and the two SIM cards. Two, because this phone without herumzutönen big, just once is a dual sim.
The display is bright, high-contrast and very sharp - I can detect differences to my HTC One X + only when I hold the units directly next to one another. 5 inches with a smartphone for well below 200 euros are of course the luxury. Nice if you then also work as well! The display has an automatic, using which the brightness of the ambient brightness adapts. This usually works very well; the limit is reached, if you stand in the blazing sun. Since the system automatically adjusts the brightness down sometimes, and it is amazing how much can get out of the display even if you automatically adjust the brightness up. I too would like to commend that the mobile phone with an attached screen protector comes out of the pack.
The touch screen responds quickly and accurately, I really have nothing to complain about him. However, I do not game, and use the smartphone exclusively for telephoning, for written communication, a multimedia center and a navigation device.
On the left side of the device is the mini-USB port, on the right very common switch for input from and the screen lock and volume rocker.
At the front there are in addition to the brightness sensor, a camera, with which you can use Skype quite well; at the back of a flashlight and an 8-megapixel camera and the tiny speaker that blares total a little too quiet.
Installed as the operating system is Android 4.2, which purifies pleasant and very simply comes along and some nice surprises for me brought. For example, you can set the same as the default setting if apps on the internal memory or the memory card will be placed. Even later you can still move apps from your device to the memory card, which I think is very practical and enjoyable and also appears to be required in an internal memory of just 2GB. The memory card is not supplied by the way, but I strongly advise to purchase.
Menus and Shortcuts are all very useful and placed intuitively. In some rare cases a strange translation errors, which can be a short chuckle or pondering encounter: there are in the Sound menu an item "Klangverstörung" who has something to do with amplification, and the Quick Setup menu there is an item called "time expired ". I have a couple of days needed until I came out that hereby the screen timeout is meant, ie the time after which the screen goes blank when it is not being used.
The connectivity can I find - except for one thing - very good. The phone connects quickly with its mobile network and receives wireless signals, which report other smartphones, there was no wireless since. Disconnections there are exceedingly rare. The connection of other phones or headphones via Bluetooth works perfectly, automatically and largely be uninterrupted. Only the GPS signal is sought at the beginning of the journey for my taste too long. If the phone has however found first one, it remains associated spitzenmäßig.
The in this price range luxurious quad-core 1.2GHz processor running fast and smoothly; the RAM is large enough to lie down together with him a great performance in everyday life. So I go through the city, let me control of the Google Navigation through the city while; at the same time I stream my music via Bluetooth from Spotify on the headphones. All this is completely the same time without problems. All I can check in breaks even Facebook and mails, read about the Kindle app books or the latest issue of Time.
The connection of the calendar and contacts memory at Google works without any problems.
Particularly worth highlighting I find the fact that the built-in alarm clock works even when the power is off. Which Android phone far and wide, this way? In addition, you can also automatically start the device at certain times and be shut down. Also I have never seen otherwise.
On the onscreen keyboard, it can be wonderfully tap; speech intelligibility when telephoning is ok. I call most of my Bluetooth headset, also is the problem: The music or navigation, or both is simply interrupted when a call on or goes off.
The sound through the headphones is not quite as good as with a Sony, but can compete with all other smart phones easily. Video on the web or from the memory card to be played smoothly, there are no complaints.
Even the camera is in good daylight to very colorful and sharp photos capable of far better than many other mobile phone camera. But they buckled in a light becomes weaker rapidly, since the built-in flash does not help. For the holiday so please pack a camera; otherwise extends the smartphone camera for snapshots very good. Even videos can quickly record times; they are stored in quite acceptable quality and with something to baßreichem stereo.
The organization of two SIM cards is solved very useful, however, the dual SIM draws heavily on the battery, which is why I have taken out the second card.
The battery is perhaps the weakest part of phones, which is otherwise so beautiful robust that even without protective cover falls from height of a man without prejudice survives: In occasional calls and rarely use the messages Check and as a media center to get so sometimes also a 14-hour tag. However, with intensive use, it is also possible, more than half leerzudaddeln him in 3 or 4 hours, for example, if you get bored sitting in some waiting rooms and during which taps kilometer emails while listening to music via Bluetooth.
So come on my usage, with the other smart phones just just barely over one day, I have to reload after a half day at the Hisense. I think that's not particularly bad, because for less than 20 euros, there are external batteries that can hold up to three mobile phone charges and to which one can easily connect the phone when the power is running out.
All in all, you have a very viable smartphone here what a good accompanied by any situation of everyday life and comes with verschmerzbaren weaknesses such as not very powerful battery.
EDIT 12/10/2014:
After I had the phone about three months now quite extensively, but not exclusively, in use, the mini-USB port has since eased to the extent that the device can no longer be safely charge. One must all the while keeping the plug in a specific position so that something happens. In conjunction with the very modest battery life that is of course fatal. From data transmission no question.
In addition, the system crashed during the last weeks several times a day just from while I just typed a message, and launched a new one, or I had to remove the battery to reseten it. The device has thus become virtually unusable and hiked with me in the drawer. The Hisense support, written more than a month ago, does not respond.
Edit Summary: Too bad that the enticing with good amenities and good value device in the end once again confirmed the prejudice about cheap Chinese goods.
