***** UPDATE - 08/04/2013:
--------------------------
After a few weeks of intensive use I have to say that the "SoD" problem has me settled down to a minimum. Since the 14/03 och had this problem just yet 2x! This is of course still not pretty, but imo not bad and even to cope. Otherwise, I can not complain. I hope not I rashly trade, but based on my experience over several weeks I forgive again 5 stars!
... Hopefully my LT25i not revenge now;)

Toi toi toi (I do not want to say too loudly, but not even the "Sod" had for 5 days. I have to continue the "Battery Guru" run, can say Allerding snicht whether it has to do with it. It would be great, if this would remain. I could live with it if the IAHC errors from time to time occur, just not more than once a week.

UPDATE - 08.03.2013:
--------------------
I now have the app "Snapdragon - Battery Guru" for 4 days running, which is to bring a battery save-of 20-30%. The app takes nearly 48 hours to "learn" ... since this process is done, I have had no more problems with the "SoD". Can of course only be a coincidence, but who knows ... Just continue testing. However, I must also say that there with me nowhere near as extreme as in some other reports was seen. Too bad it's all because it's really in pretty much every respect a great device.

"Sleep of Death" - after I've noticed this problem at first nothing, I have to date, unfortunately, 1 star pull, since it is now also occurred in my device. I own the device now almost 3 weeks. In the first 1 1/2 weeks it was quite normal. Well said error happened already 5-6 times.
Personally I do not mind particularly, however, it may not be the case with a nearly 500.00 EUR expensive device. As you can read mainly in English-speaking forums, the problem could possibly with Facebook WhatŽs app or related similar.
Curiously, the problem occurs when I usually dinner on if I have a little more with e-mailed Whatts app. During the day when I hardly used it because my profession is not this happened yet.
I hope it's just a Androidproblem, which can be solved with a system update. I'll definitely keep an eye on. If not remedied, I'll change the Wertugn to 3 stars. Should be remedied, it gets full marks again. It would be a shame to see this for themselves at & great device.

- Battery life:
---------------
I as an office man doing daytime relatively little with the phone. I have the battery saving option is activated, which abkapselt smartphone in Standyby of all online activities. So BSWP mails or Whats then obtained app news, once you unlock the phone again. How do I find a very successful option. So managed my phone yesterday by 100% (7:00 am) still at least about 50% to 22 o'clock to have. And where the battery certainly not yet at full capacity is.
-------------------------------------------------
Having previously been the Sony Xperia Sola Sony Xperia J & had, I wanted to enjoy a Sony cell phone of the upper class to me now times.
The initial tests looked very promising. Even if I can not have it long said that the expectations were not disappointed (for now).
The delivery is in addition to the Xperia V still further the power-saving charger, micro USB cable, headphones (incl. Various Ohrstöpssel) and the replaceable battery included.
First, it should be mentioned that the device will operate with micro-SIM card. The is however in most current SIM cards not a problem because there you just have to virtually break out only from pre-cut form. Inserting the Micro Sim and the SD Memory Card is a bit fiddly job and possibly for large hands a bit annoying. When slots are namely directly above each other, so that one does not have to take care to push the wrong card in the wrong slot. But this procedure is indeed basically necessary only once.
Next, the elegant appearance is striking. Around the housing to a frame swings in chrome look (which is of course a matter of taste, many like the "brushed metal" look better). For this, the black front with a (in my case) white back. For this, the easy geschwungende form the back, similar to the Arc S or Xperia J, which not only looks great visually but the device can also be comfortable in the hand.
All connections are hidden under covers in chrome look, what the optics of course immensely strengthened.
The rocker switch for silently or quietly, is right at the top of the page. Among the on / off button. Thus, so the other way around as example the Xperia J.
After switching on and brisk installation you will notice directly Brightly colored 4.3 inch HD display (display: 1280 x 720 pixels). While this is relatively warm, but this is not unusual in the current, high-performance displays. In addition, the display is also in strong light or sun influence legible.
If you have previously operated "only" entry level or mid-range smartphones, that's a quantum leap. "Wipe" Even the back and forth or scroll through menus and apps is really enormous afloat .... no long wait to for example Facebook is loaded.
Operation is also possible for the most part with one hand, which is why I would like to personally have no display that is larger than 4.3 inches.
The 3 lower menu keys are not as usually displayed on the display, but will appear depending on what you make (or even hidden). Everything works very accurate and has eg. Not so small and fiddly as the Sony Xperia Ion.
As for the battery life, I can currently not make any really meaningful statement. Until the full power is available, it will take some time. Currently I have the display at full brightness and activated at home permanently W-LAN, so that the battery is currently already pretty fast empty. As soon as I can REPLACE meaningful life experience, I will do so here :) known.
Let us now turn to the camera. This has 13 MP and can also make video recordings in HD. What I have done until now, video or photos, took me high impressed. Right here it lacks the cheaper phone often on quality. The HDR function conjures up a truly vibrant colors, but the act does not distort.
In scientific journals the one or other detail will surely find what gives cause for criticism. But "average Joe photographer" is a full-fledged digital camera replacement here. With a 32GB memory card can then also beautiful video recordings in high defintion make. I tested this on the day in bright light and in the apartment with normal illumination.
The shooting in dark or schelchten Lichtverhältnissne look I have not yet tested. But I think the one in low light anyway relatively rare in rows makes photos :). And the front camera smartphone is the quality of her really fine and even better than the full-fledged camera with so many newcomers.
Furthermore, the smart phone has NFC, placing it in the future is possible to make cashless payments. In addition, the device has been certified PlayStation. It is thus possible via Playstation account to purchase various games and to download to your phone. The Walkman app turns the device into a fully-fledged MP3 player replacement. Erfrelich is also the battery is not permanently installed, devices as with most current superclass.
The Xperia V also has to make use of the possibility to transfer FUTURE standard LTE. I could not test this, however, since I (still) do not use it.
Mentioned positive was the fact that the device is protected Dust & Splash.
Technical gimmicks such as the Spielgeln the phone display on the home HD television include, not for everyday use ... but will surely also angetestet in the near future.
CONCLUSION:
------
So far I could not identify any negative aspects.
- The look is noble,
- The technology up to date,
- The display is excellent and the camera delivers compelling work,
- Work pace is brisk
- Fits comfortably in your hand (only 8.5mm thick)
- Very good equipment to functions
The longevity and the battery power are not to evaluate and be submitted. But the first impression is very persistent and persuasive, so I would recommend this device without hesitation, if the wallet allows. In my mind it is obvious that here is a Top Smartphone with plenty facilities and more than send optics.
