The arm is fixed, unfortunately, so you have the test material can always put on the microscope.
Here a design would have been much better, how to find them in similar Novex AP-8. All the optics can be turned here back so that you can examine large areas etc.. Had me that I would have been previously aware probably resorted more to the AP-8.
The transmitted-light LED flickers with me every now and then. If they should not persevere are blessed a warranty claim.
The microscope was adjusted so bad that both sides could not provide a sharp image at the same time even if the Dpt-balance adjustment on the left eyepiece was already on the attack. But problem settled by readjusting a lens (!) Fix (Would normally clearly a reason for return have been).
Therefore, due to the seemingly bad quality control and unusable 80x magnification I give only three stars.
Since the market unless needed, certainly no longer to be had for the price I would have given four stars for a device without LED and adjustment errors.
For the price I would the device (or even the AP-8) but still buy again because I see few alternatives and it is absolutely sufficient for occasional operation.
