It fits perfectly in a (Leitz or other) folder and the leaves can also be quite well together. So he really replaced the usual staple.
The metal acts quality per se and also the two small "peepholes" are practical to detect a bruised at the center of A4 sheet and hence to make the center.
Inside are two small "spacing noses" (see Photo 1), so that the sheet can not be too deeply pushed into the holes. This works but not always right away and you have to see for yourself that the blade does not slip or not generally back and herrutscht.
With the punch capacity, I'm not completely satisfied. It takes a total of already a very high pressure. This is (in my case) not even with simultaneous pressure on the two "bruises", but only one after the other. You can hear when you press then also a clear "click".
It is stated that he can punch two standard sheets at once. Mostly, however, sees the "punch capacity" in two sheets the same as in the photo 2. If a single sheet is the hole with a lot of pressure but then well.
Basically works the punch as an emergency Locher already - but he is no longer. Better, it seems to me, mitdabeizuhaben a small but real mini-punch.
I must say that I also a little "skeptical" bin: For years I had a similar folder Locher, who was but by another company and completely made of plastic. This there is unfortunately no longer nachzukaufen - I found him nowhere. This has however been with me for several years and often went through many hands. The punch was much problem- and powerless.
He was great and the Leitz Stapler can not unfortunately this candle.
Photo 1: Punch from the inside, visible small "stop-nose" is so leaves are not inserted too deeply.
Photo 2: hole punching power with two leaves (in estimated 80% of cases).
