Of course, all acute Ellen Drivers & firmware updates to the plate and the NEC controllers are installed - does not help! 'm Pretty frustrated with USB 3.0 - after days of trial and error (One could actually something else emulate.)
The reviews here are so overwhelmingly positive, but can be found for example at Amazon.com other customers with exactly the same problems with Win7 (Just the 1-star rating click!). If you surf Forum in English WD, one finds similar reports.

With a separate USB 3.0 controller card (CN memory) the board is now running reliably. Just sitting on map of the NEC said chip and the driver have remained the same. It is apparently an incompatibility with the motherboard USB3.0 interface. Since the same controller is used, it is probably due to the external wiring and its interaction with the plates Universal Serial Bus controllers.

The board finally (!) Removed from the WD housing and packed into an external USB3.0 housing (Rapid Case of Sharkoon). Unfortunately, the controller of the panel was ultimately not as round, in particular the recognition was unreliable and lately piled up the kills. What can I say, the Rapid Case it now works great. In short, the controller of WD was probably somewhat buggy ...
