I have two of these cables and bought both tried, unfortunately with no success! Cable plugged directly to the motherboard to two USB 3.0 sockets and the hard drive was not detected. The original cable on the other hand works perfectly, at the same USB sockets. Ergo the cables were to blame. Retouniert to Amazon and get back money.
