Performance-wise, this hub 3.0 delivers transfer rates close to those without the hub. Jatteins rates of 24 MB / s in USB 2.0 with USB 3.0 key and 7 MB / s with USB 2.0. I stay in the same level with an external hard drive 3.0. In USB 3.0, with a 5.46 GB file jatteins 46 MB / s from the PC to the USB drive and 106 MB / s in the other direction. It's even better with the external hard drive (Samsung M3) with respective rates of 85 MB / s (PC to external disk) and 109 MB / s of external drive to the PC. Note that these rates are obtained with food (one supplied with the hub) if the external hard drive (no need for the USB key), otherwise the rates tend to have real lows. Inevitably, the rates tend to fall into multiple transfers, which is found on all hubs that I've experienced. I said that these rates are obviously variable and depending on the material used and the configuration of the PC (for information, it varies from one to two on 3 PCs tested very different configuration). It can also be used to charge devices (tested with Android and external battery units). However, I have noted differences in transfer the chosen port, which is quite surprising. Sometimes there even falls in the more remote ports cable despite the 5V charger supplied quon connects to the hub. The latter is more quutile because USB 3.0 is energy and 500 Mha issued by the computer's USB may not be sufficient to operate all components properly (some external drives require 1A). So we need to connect it to the charger for perfect use.
In summary, this hub is pretty good All in all with a sleek design and an original form. It lacks greater cable length for greater flexibility of use.
