I use the flash to the Olympus PL / 5 for snapshots (also lowlight) and occasional portraits.

In particular, as a fill in automatic mode (flash and camera) illumination original light / flash is excellent,
no comparison to the above flashed photos of some compact camera.

In addition, you can by pressing a button, the flash output up / down regulate.

In series mode L he keeps having problems.

As a slave, I have not tested it

The only shortcoming
Because of the 4 AA batteries the weight is a bit high (compared to the camera), but the flash is enduring.
