This is the second Ergotron I have. There is nothing better and I would resort again and again to this brand. Ergotron is just great goods. I have looked at many monitorbrackets. After fine-tuning it really keeps the monitor where it should be. If this is now rotated, tilted or moved once more, does that without creak, crack, etc. Nothing is loose, or leaves a fear that the monitor the same lands at the workplace. This time I have long thought and a used in the long version (standpipe) taken in the original carton in order to make my two one. The scraper described I'm still looking. All top !! So I would do it again.
