Hardware:
When unpacking, I marveled first at how small this keyboard actually is. Nevertheless, you get an almost full-size keyboard with almost all special function keys only on the separate numeric keypad you have to do without.
Overall, the keyboard makes a solid impression and has well-defined key pressure points. The arrow keys are located on a well-to-operate rocker, the Page Up / Down keys on the narrow side are also easily accessible.
The built-in touchpad is a mouse replacement quite usable, something too sensitive for my taste though, because it is not uncommon with a part of the hand sweeps when you operate the buttons above. Can be switched off, unfortunately not.
Enclosed was a USB-Y cable, perhaps a mistake, because to recharge the battery normally ranges an ordinary USB cable.
The battery is then also my main point of criticism, namely it is firmly installed. If a fault or age-related capacity loss, the entire device must be replaced at some point - planned Obszoleszenz is called I had before buying not the focus..
Also begefügt: a mini-receiver unit which can be plugged into a specially designated slot for transportation purposes - nice solution, albeit for my hard-installation is not important. I have the receiver plugged into one of the front USB ports on your multimedia PC, where he visually but does not bother because of its size.
The instructions supplied ("Rev. 1.0", also in mini format), there's only in English and Chinese, the descriptions and illustrations are but easy to understand.

After several weeks of Eingewöhnens I have to say (after initial skepticism) that the control of my multimedia PC works very well. Actually, I own no multimedia PC, but an ordinary mini-tower, the I use exclusively for multimedia purposes.
I do not even the Windows Media Center, but prefer freeware that I can largely make according to my wishes. On the preset multimedia keys (play / pause, track up / down, volume up / down) react my applications or operating system, but as expected, apparently these commands are largely standardized.
Respect. Operation nevertheless you have to change a bit: as an ordinary remote control can be the keyboard rather not use, to be the keys too close together. Even with keyboard shortcuts for operating system commands should the keyboard are rather ahead of them as hold in your hand. On the other hand, the plurality of programmable commands for each software is more than adequate. I use specifically the foobar player (audio) and the Media Player Classic (video), both of which can be programmed with respect. Keys free.
Very functional is the range of 2.4GHz radio link, better than any infrared remote control, which is angewisen on sight. My MM-PC is in a chest behind a door, connection problems I had here before.
What bothers me a bit, is the blue light flood that confirms each keystroke. DC 4 LED manufacturer has donated in a confined space, so you have to look already exactly which for now just lights. Blue LED appear to be generally cheap, and apparently the brighter the cheaper, otherwise I can the current Blue Light Flood - with other devices - do not tell. It makes sense for my purposes but is the light for the Capitals key that I've turned into the above applications mute button.
Every now and then forfeit the device in a sort of panic mode and apparently constantly sends commands (in any case the corresponding LED lights permanently) and also takes no more commands. Easy off and on fixes this problem, but again immediately.
Almost forgot, but absolutely positive aspect: the switchable backlight in subtle shade of red and very uniform illumination of all keys.
