The handle of the camera itself is a bit small for large hands, for improved handling actually recommended this auxiliary handle.
But: For medium to large hands the combination of camera and grip gives no really satisfactory usability, I do not know for example, what to do with the little finger, the very strange on the Querwulst (vertical grip part) comes to lie..
The trigger and the surrounding him dial also interferes with the grip, the unit nestles not without edges in the hand.
A price of over 200, - for a handle with tray for only a battery and otherwise no other functions (except being the controls) is in my opinion, grossly exaggerated. For a little more money, there are already complete DSLRs including kit lens (just saw Canon 1000D including optics for 299, -), here therefore is not right when handle the price / performance ratio.
Annoying, too, that the handle does not really clean abuts the camera. The slight displacement of the connecting thread (outside the center) of the handle is tightened unevenly to the camera, in the area of ​​the port to handle the camera he has game, there is also produced a small space between the camera body and the handle. When you wanted a better price, more accurate (seamless) adjustment to the camera body is supposed to be self-evident.
