I have seen many Headlamps obsessed (more discounters models, Petzl, LED Lenser). I use for the following purposes: Running at night, Cycling at night. Working outside in the dark, Illumination at Fummel land where good visibility is required (eg technical equipment. B.) Dog run at night and find and collect his sausages. The first two points are most important for me, for the rest of the rich allerbilligsten parts usually all - including this one. For nighttime skiing though the lamp is totally unsuitable because it protrudes too far and unstable sitting by the vibration when running and wobbles. On the bike I have the lamp used as extra lighting, as the sole light in total darkness, they by no means sufficient, unless one moves away at a walking pace. For fast cycling you can not use them. Conclusion: useless for small everyday operations ok, for sporting activities.
