UVEX Active Vario

- Wind features not optimal
(- Sits (for me) to high)

I bought the Active Vario from UVEX since I last drive more and more bike and quickly with increasing speeds Mückchen and wind problem. Since the product was exclusively positive reviews and UVEX stand earlier for good quality, the purchase was a mere formality.

The delivery was as always super quick and easy. The glasses are in an extra Hardcase spectacle and also still has a tape for attaching to the head and a storage bag. The tape is very easy to attach and pull back and bag and case is also nothing to complain about.
The spectacle itself is very sporty shaped and takes advantage of the stability creates a super figure. When replacing the light weight falls on and that the bracket, are flexible despite stable construction. You therefore adapt to both smaller and larger heads.

The discs are, even if the product image promises something different, slightly colored in the initial state and in daylight without sunlight. The image is undistorted, but I have problems reading with the glasses. But since it is not designed for, there is no deduction here.
The glasses sitting relatively safe on my rather narrow head, head movements forward or back are not a problem. Who then is all too sensitive, which can indeed use the supplied headphones / necklace. I feel that the glasses sits relatively high, because it goes at the top of my eyebrows. But may also be that this is just my weird mind, so no deduction.
Update: The reason for the wrong seat were the movable nose pad. Fits to the its nose, the glasses fits perfectly!

The driving characteristics so far I could test quite well in several short and a long drive.

The blackout is a little bluish and very pleasant. Takes a little and can sometimes lead during extension from the forest to eyes pinch, but that's all in the frame. At dusk, the whole is still working, the properties at night I still need to test it (see update below). And all but is already tinted in the normal state, it could be as tough.

The wind characteristics are not as good as expected, but compared to a normal sunglasses or without glasses has been a very significant improvement noticeable. At higher speeds, it takes pure among the glasses, but I am anyway rather go between 20 and 40km / h. If you drive more, maybe you should look for something else or putting on swimming goggles.
Update: The glasses seals but better than first thought, as the seat has been optimized.

All in all, I find the glasses very well. The seat is good, she is doing well on the nose and ears firmly. The blackout is very pleasant for me and adapts relatively quickly to light conditions.
Who seeks nothing overly professional and can live with a little train which is operated here super.

UPDATE (08/05/2014): I have the glasses now also be able to test at night and I is not contemptible error noticed.
The first thing to say that the spectacle is almost transparent at night and you can also go in angenehem quasi complete darkness. It therefore provides good protection against Mückchen and other animals, as well as wind.
A big drawback are reflections on the glasses. If you drive on a road at dusk or at night, seen through the eyes more lights than are available. Each light is 1, sometimes even reflecting 2x. This can be distracting and should not actually happen!
After a bit of getting used to but you know what is where and you can also drive it well. Nevertheless, that should not happen!
