I ordered the color "light gray"; This is a mixture of gray and light blue and so actually rather unremarkable.
Packed is all in a net bag, which is durable enough, firstly, and secondly - and I was really grateful - not so tight that you always "cram" the towel must as in too tightly packed suitcase.
By means of a "stopper" can also be reliably pull and hang up at once because the bag.
On a corner of the towel is still a sturdy, 12 cm long ribbon attached, which can make using a pushbutton and to form a loop. In order to take is given a hanging rack, on the other hand, the tape is long enough in order to tie up the towel to a packet. In addition, you can even hang this towel-packet yet, because the band an extra loop is attached at the end again. Very practical and sophisticated!
For weight:
Everything together is very easy: mesh pocket plus dry towel weigh a mere 77 grams, less than a chocolate bar.
Here's a clearer comparison:
- VAUDE sports towel, size 40 cm x 80 cm dry and incl bag 77 grams, ie 3200 cm - cm> per 1,000. 24.1 gr.
- "Mutti terry towel", size 93 cm x 47 cm, dry and without bag ;-), ie 4371 cm - cm> per 1,000: 57.2 gr.
- Sunland microfiber sports towel, size 50 cm x 100 cm, dry and bag incl 203 gr, ie 5000 cm - cm> per 1000:.. 40.6 gr.
(Which is a somewhat "flauschigeres" so but also less compact microfiber towel)
The fabric is very thin, but amazingly absorbent. At the micro you have to get used to, however, I always find it a bit uncomfortable on the skin, perhaps because it feels very soft, almost a little rubber- or leather-like. Who else knows only Terry towels, must get used to it first.
Once wet, the fabric does first, wring well, so that only a slight moisture remains in the fabric and then the fabric dries very quickly.
Overall a very good "sports towel" and it is good when traveling to take away, if you happen to come in between the water.
In retrospect, however, I must say that my size "S" for the whole body, although well enough from drying ago, but the size is just too small and I would have taken better (at least) "M".
This "mistake" but is not on the towel, but on (to frugal :-) buyer, so: 5 star.
