Venta or Beurer as humidifier and purifier?

We live on the ground floor in a residential area with a relatively high particulate content. Therefore we used on the premises for many years Luftwäscher Fa. Venta.
We were very happy with the cleaning action. The significantly polluted water was completely replaced every 10 days (Non smoking household!). The humidity was positively influenced and was always even with strong heating operation in the range of 40 - 50 degrees lt hygrometer, ie within the target range.. When older predecessor LW 40 (about 30 square meters) were evaporated to some heating days about four liters of water in the largest room.
But now a device had to be discarded after about 20 years, since it was just "filthy" to. Thus, to the detriment of the Venta-equipment used: A cleaning of shells, where the propeller is, was hardly possible.
For this and other reasons (value for money, design ...) we got ourselves to replace above Beurer LW 110, in which the cleaning seemed much simpler and its performance were similar. So far, after 3 months of operation, we are also very pleased with this part. It does what it should, has three performance stages, quiet and energy efficient, and really easy to clean. In defense of Venta but you have to say that with the current models by a design change, the cleaning ability was also simplified, which was not known when buying Beurer device.

In conclusion it can be said that both brands are recommended.

One tip that has been raised already in other reviews: A drop of detergent in the water and the evaporation capacity increases noticeably, particularly in "hard", ie hard water.
