I need in my apartment in two relatively widely spaced rooms access to the wireless router, which is located one floor below. In both rooms the reception is borderline for devices with weak beneficiaries. In room A, I had already set up a router from D-Link (40) than AC client, without problems and with constant good reception. For room B because of the price (26) I bought the Edimax AC as client. The first problem came with the device, because the Edimax was unwilling to accept the network password, even after I had him back to factory settings via the button. Why also always try to x he took it but (without that I would have done what different, so please come to me with no Caps Lock, Num Lock or the like). The device for AC client was then unproblematic. Second problem was the reception. While I was able to run the D-Link perfectly both in area A and area B, filed the receipt for the Edimax only in area A. The third problem was only on the second day of the operation, as two Windows7 laptops suddenly could build no more access to the WLAN, whereas all other wireless devices (smartphones, tablets) performed flawlessly. When I had taken the Edimax from power, the laptop ran again. One explanation I have not. I wanted to again view the settings or make a possibly firmware update, not left me the password request once again to the menu. After twenty attempts, the decision to return the device fell.
