The camera has a non-slip surface and is very comfortable to hold. I, too, with my relatively small hands it can still operate comfortably. Visually it makes a very good impression. The case is well made and looks classy and quality. The menu system on the unit is gratifying clearly, so that one relatively quickly cope with it. Of course, not all functions are intuitive to control (for there are far too many), but for a first try and the most important functions is it enough. Taking pictures with the camera is a real pleasure. The small digital camera from Panasonic, which I have used in recent years is good and I use it very much, but this one but can do much more. The camera has a fast response time, ie it is quickly ready to shoot after switching, the auto focus reacts very quickly, and the shutter lag is low (ideal for snapshots). One may choose to bring their help also completely untrained good shots concluded between a variety of different recording. All possible external conditions (lighting, motive, weather, location, etc.) can be preset. If you want that, you can turn off when photographing his brain almost completely with the right specifications let the camera thinking. Alternatively, you can as a photographer, the necessary / desired settings (partially or completely) manually and really creative romp with great, very individual pictures from unusual angles or from exceptional designs.
The (for me) brilliant of the camera is clearly the Zoom (Focal Length 24-1440 mm). I never had a camera in his hand, with which you can make from a great distance so great and crisp close-ups. Distant subjects appear in the pictures, as if you had been standing next to when shooting directly fascinating! Thanks to a large wide-angle can also be very large objects (eg tall buildings) from a short distance pictures (perfect for the next sightseeing tour in a city). The organization of the stored images is comfortable. They can for example put in different albums, sort by different specifications or edit individually. The transfer to the PC is simple and quick; the software will be installed automatically. If you have a suitable printer, you can send images directly to the printer and print. Using WiFi can also send images by pressing a button to the smartphone. The picture quality is really very good. Shooting at maximum resolution require a relatively large space, but offer really brilliant colors and very precise, sharp contours.
Shooting movies (full HD resolution with 60 frames per second) are easy - in principle you have to press a button and there you go. By pressing a key you can switch directly from shooting to film. What is needed for a reasonably fast memory card, otherwise the movie experience could end rather abruptly. Picture and sound quality I find pretty good. The image stabilizer apparently works just fine: Although I have no training and do not even interested in filming so special, my shots (no jerking) were pleasing evenly.
Although I have the camera for about two weeks now and they've used quite extensively, I've tried not all features that it offers so. I have meanwhile also every now and then a look at the manual to throw, because in each of these settings have any questions. But I'm already pretty excited because the camera is easy to operate, offers tens of configuration options, features and extras and makes really great pictures. The zoom is gran-di-os! For me at least it leaves nothing to be desired and therefore gets five star rave.
