The training period is refreshingly short -> charge the battery, insert, and press play ribbon. A backlit display shows the text legible. The entry on the rubber keypad is precise and direct, intuitive, the user can write text, delete and edit.
Special characters can also be integrated quickly, and the print-specific settings such as font size and style done quickly. The device has pre-installed templates in terms font, font size, and label type.
It can be quickly and easily create new templates. Very comfortable is the via software. The software I have only test used way, after a short time I had tinkered a suitable template.
The Dymo D1 can handle labels of 6,9,12, and 19 mm width, the machine will print quickly and quietly and the cutting mechanism is very precise.
