Versatile, robust, flexible

Already widely tested: in the sea, on foot, on branches, traffic signs, etc. Extremely felexibel and reliable. The individual elements are hollow inside, thus very easy. Remains robust in the desired position! One of my best investments I've ever made; my Nikon Coolpix AW120 is now almost permanently mounted on the tripod.

Alternatively usable as stand for phone or tablet - creative thinking required.

I would be now but opt ​​for the version with built-in magnets since metal surfaces are often very slippery and the tripod is sometimes difficult to fix. Become retrofit my GorillaPod with neodymium magnets.

Note: when to (very) rough use, it may happen that solve the elements from each other. That's happened to me twice. Put together again and resolved problem.
