I have this multifunction device risen mainly because of its scanner function. To print I use apart from isolated color printing continues to be my laser printer (a total of only about 10 pages with color, no Fotoaudrucke). Each switch on the unit first carried a lengthy head cleaning before scanning can begin. Apart from this, in my view unnecessary and annoying waiting time then appeared after about 5 months, warning that a color ink cartridge is nearly empty. Since I currently need the appliance for scanning, I just ignored the warning. Less than a month later from the alarm, the error message "Ink has run out. Replace the ink tank." No matter, I only want scan, I thought, but unfortunately the device now denied any use, in other words also the scanner is now deactivated! Why are scanning full ink cartridges needed?
Love CANON Marketing, the good and harmonious overall impression of the device was made with this strategy naught. I pulled the ripcord and today sent the unit into undeserved retirement. A unit of CANON I'll never buy myself again!
