The enclosed Quick Guide does not describe the device for this application, however. With the guidance of Pierre (Thank you!) To me is this but quickly managed a little network knowledge should be available.
The first time you connect an Ethernet cable to my computer, calling up the Internet Explorer and enter any web address, the configuration interface of the router appeared. One can call this but also directly via [...]
At login prompt is then added as a login: admin and the password 1234.
Note, before carrying out changes to settings:
Changed settings become active with "Apply". Then you can choose "Continue" or "apply" again.
# "Continue" is the opportunity in front of a router reboot to perform further settings (recommended)
# "Apply" forces an immediate reboot with the new settings.
I have co-written all the steps themselves again in detail. So I managed to configure an access point in client mode:
General Setup
Wireless
Wireless Settings
Fashion: "Station-Infrastructure" (not AP, Bridge not ...)
Click button "Select Site Survey"
> Select the wireless network's (SSID), DONE -
Security Settings
Select "WPA pre-shared key"
Select "WPA2 (AES)"
Select "passphrase"
Pre-shared Key: "Enter"
WPS Settings
Enable WPS disabled
Now reboot with "Apply" can be initiated (wait wait with Countdown in the browser, then press the OK button After that you should perform as a last resort following adjustment.:
LAN
DHCP Server: Disabled
Once again reboot with "Apply".
Note: After the configuration interface of the router is no longer reachable (normal). The LAN setting with a complete shutdown of the DHCP server should therefore be carried out as with last restart.
Will you now once again go into the configuration interface, you have the reset button on the back> 5 secs (factory reset) and you can again start from scratch.
The only weak point of the product is the included incomplete Quick Guide manual. On the Internet I also can not find a more detailed manual (google).
I wish a lot of success when setting!
