For Hearing test:
Mixed.
The headphones with its neodymium was aimed at all kinds of electronic music, or rather the neodymium are suitable for it.
DNB, Dubstep, many Pop stuff come across excellent. Precise punchy, sufficiently correct heights and a homogenous mid range. Very good resolution, instruments can be located very well (with appropriate recording). Guetta has me never so much :)
Classical: Partly audible. But here already missing the crisp bass of the music here and the highs are not addressed very often sounds all quite flat. Instruments hardly locatable. Too Bad.
Rock: just as in classical music rather flat, some things sound but surprisingly
Voice-biased as audiobooks: ok heights could better come over.
Metal: the harder it is the more fail the neodymium. It all sounds somewhat underground, the sound collapses. Sorry. For this, not at all suitable.
Conclusion
A nice headphones, very convenient (folded flat), stable angled plug. Very light and comfortable to wear.
For all types of music that come recommended from the synthesizer / PC / Mac. Come instruments are played in front of the hand: rather what choose another. Unless you like to listen to medium wave ...
