One of the fashion bible. I have two complaints: in the case of a book made by Vogue, it focuses primarily on patterns of trade (precisely those of Vogue) and no on creating / editing patrons home. The second complaint is the language a bit monotonous - some more modern sewing books can be read almost like novels, which is not the case here. Other than that, all techniques are there even of couture techniques. Warning: the book is not illustrated not so I rather not recommended for those who already have some experience in sewing or explanations may be difficult to decipher.
