So in the initial focal length, there are at the corners round black shadow "but"! when the zoom button 2-3 times so not even 1 zoom to tipt the shadow is gone and you still have a "tested" about 17-20mm focal length which is still enormous for a camcorder of 28mm focal length has at the video quality I could find no significant differences both shots are similar.
