A fast, inexpensive and lightweight notebook is the perfect birthday present.
First anticipate - the Notebokk came with DOS and I have a Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit worried me low with license.
Installed and found that many Lenovo drivers are missing. I then downloaded to me from the Lenovo site and it was a little tweaking until I had installed everything. However, I am fairly well versed in things PC so I could also a driver, who was not on the page, find and install.
Meanwhile, the machine runs smoothly and the keyboard, the special pad etc. work great.
The device is also fairly quiet, you can hear something the plate and very low fan noise. Previous speakers have probably not installed all the necessary drivers for the board.
The Lenovo S400 is the perfect notebook, if you primarily looking for a good price-performance ratio and the processor i5-3317U brings enough power. The 500GB drive is also felt fairly quickly.
The notebook is very valuable and well finished and stands out above all by the very successful keyboard.
The display reflects slightly. Music output is possible the hammer, good speakers and surround sound.
Camera and equipment are satisfactory and USB 3.0 is not installed on any device.
The battery lasts fully charged in WLAN mode after all, 3 - 4 hours.
For the touchpad necessarily load the drivers from the Lenovo site.
The driver support of Lenovo was okay, but not optimal. Some installations do not work, an unknown device in Device Manager works after download found on the manufacturer's facilities properly.
All in all I am very satisfied and would buy the device at any time.
