This player does not play much unlike what is advertised, even by re-encoding the movie in other formats it did not happen (divx- xvid). some went early then not at all, others went on a usb dvd but not vice versa. a real hassle to show a film for children. brief return to the sender and as Sony did not even answer us, I would turn now to other brands for all my hi-fi video equipment.
