I had a leak problem on a pressure cooker SEB. By changing the seal and by coating, as recommended, with soapy water or liquid soap, he did not put in place and the leak persisted. The natural reflex was to tighten harder the cover, which did not help at the leak because it distorted the seal and then they blocked the opening (it takes two to open the pot!). Once the (new) seal coated with the silicone grease, more problems for the implementation. And leakage! I keep preciously for other applications being given its properties: not soluble in water, food contact, and temperature resistant (+ 220 °)
