I purchased this mixer to replace mine that no longer enough purees was mixing my son. While reading prior reviews I opted for the one explaining that he made very smooth puree. Result: quite satisfied, purees my little boy is quite smooth if I want but can also keep some pieces by mixing more or less time. Perfect for vegetables but also meat, fish, spices ... etc ... for the kitchen for the whole family. The size of the bowl is okay, larger than most of the mixer, which is still good practice, but against some less easy storage.
