I opted for the model 5300 lumens 4 leds
completely satisfied with the lighting power compared to lighter models (I have a Petzel 80 lumens), ca lights far and it is very bright, even on the sides sufissement
fixation on bike => impeccable
fixation on frontal support => okay but the design results in a slight lack of upward tilt, forcing to raise their heads if necessary to illuminate close
ca weighs a little but it's still okay
1 complete emptying before recharging => 1:20 at full power
2nd dump => unfinished after 1:00 jogging
for my part, 0 problems with the battery (not heating although I left in charge several hours)
bp for heating mentioned on the lamp,
indeed, leaving the lamp empty the 1st time doing nothing (lamp left on the ground by security) => the lamp aluminum hull was burning to the point of not being able to hold
BUT the flexible plastic connecting piece that does not transmit heat and cable runs right beneath the hull was not Ramoli / burned ...
this phenomenon of heating is almost zero in jogging / bike, because I think by the air / relative wind created by the movement
and I think this heat dissipation to the outside guarantees the security of the internal components to prevent them cooked ...
2 points:
- It would have been to provide a fastening system such déclipsable ... rather than elastic
=> I like jogging and biking juggles every day, I fear that the elastic resents these changes even if it seems "beefy"
- For those who use mountain bike and did not want to dismantle the lamp by day, it would have been to provide a lamp protective cover like a appreil camera lens to protect it from possible proejections pebbles / gravel
