The material, type leather / suede genuine (handmade), is pleasant visually and tactilely.
The finishes are good, and especially there are no defects on the leather and seams. No unpleasant odor.
I have not tried the Apple official box, so I can not compare. It is cheaper anyway. And it is perfectly suited to my Ipad 2 Air (especially for access to the keys)
Why not 5 stars? because the automatic extinction Closing the flip does not work, probably because the magnets are not powerful enough.
