A piece of plastic, the design leaves something to be desired ... I was surprised when unpacking the unit to see that it would not fit in my PC ... It would be good to clarify that there are two CD formats (9.5 and 12.5 mm) ... However, I have tried to put the bay with the hard drive in another PC without success. And by putting it in the box supplied with the external drive, it was impossible to fix the rear (too short screws).
Eventually I returned the product to Amazon as unusable and I bought another bay less than 10 (less than one third of the price), which seems to me much more reliable and works without worry. For comparison, a CD player of housing about $ 15. My choice is quickly made.
Too bad because the concept started from a good intention, but the price / quality ratio does not follow.
