Very extensive function facilities, weak sound

* DVDs and CDs
'MP3, WMA, DivX, JPEG files from disc

'MP3, WMA, MPEG-4 AAC, WAV, FLAC files from
=> USB,
=> Via DLNA or
=> AirPlay

* Integriertest iPod / iPhone dock
'Music playback via Bluetooth (adapter included) (eg Apple Air Play, nice toy feature / app Pioneer)
'Audio and video content from your iPod / iPhone
'FM radio
'Internet Radio (vTuner)
* Integrated WLAN
* Videos can be played from the iPhone via Pioneer unit to TV.
* Missing only Blu-ray and that's not important for me.

I know of no other system that has such a wide range of functions.

The sound, however, is weak.
I even have a second system (exactly the same again ordered me, in the hope that the sound in another is OK. Unfortunately, there's disappointment rather large. This has even get heard my wife. I would not say of me that I am a good Sounderkenner. Since I have no expensive equipment.

I have given music to the Pioneer CD player and the iPhone again. The sound is in my opinion, rather lifeless and monotonous.
As a radio alarm would sound ok, but there is then again too expensive.

I have next to a test with an iPhone 3GS and 4 (were compatible) carried out a test with my older iPod Video 5th Generation.
This was not recognized. This is incompatible.
A question for the support has led to several weeks to no feedback.
Unfortunately I have sent the device back.
