The stick is well in hand. There is no cap, you might lose, but a slide. Unfortunately, the hooked ever again. This is the only point of criticism and costs one point, as the handling in addition to the speed is very important to me.
The USB flash drive is "SanDiskSecureAccessV2_win.exe" included. But there is a newer version online. With this software, you can encrypt the data on the stick, so that one can indeed lose a USB flash drive, but the data are then at least before the prying eyes of other safe.
The most important point - the speed:
I have tested the stick with both H2testw as well as HD Tune Pro.
The transfer rates in the initial state (FAT32) stood at 34 MB / s write and 80 MB / s read.
Values that I find very good due to the price of just 15 euros. (It was also the best values in the test)
Interestingly, these values changed after formatting. The reading performance remained the same, but the write performance changed as follows:
exFAT - 48 MB / s
NTFS - 42.5 MB / s
With a further formatting with FAT32, there were 35 MB / s hardly changes.
These strong changes compared to FAT 32. I have so far experienced in any USB flash drive.
Edit:
I've made in the Zwischenzeot more tests. However, the great variations I could find only in H2testw. I therefore came out of an incompatibility between program and controller.
With CrystalDiskMark are measured with both FAT32 and NTFS with about 49 MB / s write performance. Also transfer test with a large file (3.8 GB ISO file) produced similar results.
But does not matter with which file system formatted the drive - it is relatively fast and also cheap.
I have in the meantime also found that the slider is not checked. It locks in place and you have him lightly press down so that you can move it well.
Although I do not really trust the mechanics, so I will hereby once revise my point distribution and awarded full marks.
