paperback comic album rigid grand old format (1964) with the fourth adventure of the famous hero of Goscinny and Uderzo; this one is one of the oldest works; drawing different characters is still imperfect (unlike subsequent episodes, he is still looking), the main characters are there except Idéfix and the general theme leads our heroes to Rome and his "panem and circuses"; dialogues and plot are earthy (who does not remember the circus of lions fleeing vocalizations bard?); even if it is not a real binding but rather a paperback book with hard cover, this classic hardcover version is perfect to renew its collection, we must admit, is struggling to survive, with scars and wear marks, and multiple years hands between which it is passed (and this is quite normal after all!)
