I use the Tablet to stream HD videos and listening to music from a Windows computer (ie the data are on the Windows computer) via UPnP and Samba (I use both, depending on) and of course for the Internet surfing via Wi-Fi on a Fritzbox 7270th
Explain how the whole works would certainly go beyond the scope here .. who wants to take advantage of music and eg Flac files via UPnP, but it should not use the built-in Windows functionality because there only a few file types are supported and google for the free Plex Media Server.
Setting up Samba and how to share files on the network works fairly straightforward and there are also quite a few Android apps to either Samba, UPnP and sometimes also support both directly. Instructions can be found over the net.
Battery life

In my estimated 10h. If you park GPS or not for hours movies over the network looks, certainly longer. So you can not complain, which is very neat.
A charger is included with the Memopad and in few hours, it is also full again. How long does a charge cycle I can not say because I hang the tablet just overnight at the can.

MicroHDMI ... if you want to look at things on a large monitor. Can be useful when using the tablet as a kind of media center. However: Current LCD televisions have indeed most appropriate ways itself via WiFi or USB. But at least a very good feature for the needs it.

What I did not like so much: While there are many apps but also a lot of crap. Sometimes you have been looking for quite a bit and try until you find really has what suits one. Those looking for a video player such as the HD video can play and to also support hardware acceleration is, just have to look like a good audio player. Very nice tablet does what fun. Connection options that do not have all the tablets and make the tablet thus quite flexible.

Printing works directly via USB and OTG cable. Why did my Brother laser printer connected and installed the free version of PrinterShare Apps.
